Three interesting things about me:TBC
Lara is a caring and nurturing teacher with more than 500 Hrs of yoga training in India and Bali, and 7 years of teaching experience in the UAE. Lara’s yoga journey started in 2010, but it was only a couple of years later that she discovered it was also her calling. She soon left her corporate career in Media and started yoga studies in India to dedicate her life to sharing and studying this powerful practice that inspired her to change her life.
What areas of fitness do you specialise in?
Lara’s main focus has been Ashtanga Yoga practice and philosophy, but she has trained and teaches Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative & Yin Yoga, as well as Breathing exercises (Pranayama) and Meditation.
What are your fitness thoughts & experience?
If you could pass on one piece of training advice to a member at Max & Aegle what
would it be?
Don’t force anything. Keep on practicing, keep on training with continuous effort and dedication and all will come at the right time.
What workout do you like best, and why?
Being a yogi, I love my Ashtanga practice. It is a strong practice that requires a lot of focus, stamina, and awareness, but also softness and grace. It is a perfect example of meditation in a movement.
What’s your favourite part of the club?
The outdoor terrace, where I can unwind after a busy class, catch some sun rays and recharge with a glass of fresh juice.
Why did you become a PT?
To share this amazing gift of yoga with the world, so they can feel better, live better.
If you weren’t a PT what would you be, and why?
An actress. I like to be in front of people and make them feel something new.
