I’m a qualified rock-climbing instructor. I played semi-professional football. Bungee jumping & sky diving are passions of mine.

As a trainer, Matthew wants to encourage, motivate and advise you towards achieving happiness and satisfaction each and every time you step in and out of the gym or exercise class. He loves seeing people transform their lives through their commitment to improving themselves and hard work.

What areas of fitness do you specialise in?
Matt specialises in Les Mills RPM & GRIT, nutritional & weight management and holds a Level 3 Personal Training qualification.

What are your fitness thoughts & experience?
I have observed a lot of sports-related injuries in my career, through my experience I know how to push people without ever running the risk of injury. It is also vitally important to consider the other components of our lifestyle that affect our well-being, such as nutrition, rest, and sleep.

If you could pass on one piece of training advice to a member at Max & Aegle what would it be?
Listen to your body and take the time to rest. Rest is so crucial for the body's recovery.

What workout do you like best, and why?
Since coming to Dubai I’ve discovered a real passion for RPM and being on a bike.

What’s your favourite part of the club?
The group exercise studio’s as I’m excited to meet and join the community.

Why did you become a PT?
There isn’t just one reason as to why I became a PT. However, if I had to pick just one reason, it would be because I absolutely love fitness.

If you weren’t a PT what would you be, and why?
Being a PT has always been my dream job, so I can’t imagine being anything else.
