What would you choose?









Ron has been in the fitness industry for 10 years; He’s qualified in personal training and group exercise. As a Personal Trainer, he specialises in weight gain/loss and strength and conditioning. In the last couple of years, he has transitioned into movement/mobility training and is a Certified Stick Mobility Movement Specialist. My Group Exercise qualification includes; Les Mills BodyPump, RPM, GRIT, Yoga, BodyArt, TRX, and Freestyle Cycling. He is currently working on his qualification for Pain and Injury Rehabilitation as well as Nutrition.


Why did you become a PT?
I like educating and making people aware about health and fitness, I am a believer that movement and exercise is the best medicine next to laughter.

If you weren’t a PT what would you be, and why?
I would probably open my own restaurant that would cater to different dietary preference. I am a foodie and I do like to cook and experiment with fusion food.

What’s your favourite part of the club?
I am a massive fan of cycling and strength training. So, you will see me more in the Giro studio and the gym floor.

What workout do you like best, and why?
I do love a mix of strength and plyometrics, with the mix of both, I can have strength, speed, and agility.

What colour / animal / object best describes you?
I am convinced I am a mix of Lion and Monkey, I can be tough, calm, strategic and also have a bit of fun when needed.

If you could pass on one piece of training adviceto a member at Max & Aegle what would it be?
Do not compromise muscle preparation and recovery, they are equally essential to help you improve your performance by getting to certain positions, range of motion, stability and control. Most fitness enthusiasts will only focus on training and forget about these two elements without realising that they are exposing themselves to potential risk of getting injured.
