What would you choose?

Seetal has been in the fitness industry for over 22 years. She trained as a fitness professional in London and specialises in strength & conditioning, functional fitness, HIIT training and core workout. The most rewarding part of her job is helping others to have a better quality of life and learning about health and fitness. And the most important aspect is that she teaches from the heart, and that positive energy transfers across to the client, group or large-scale client base.

Why did you become a PT?
I have been passionate about health and fitness all my life. There is immense satisfaction in helping others achieve their fitness goals and quality of life. In addition, it gives confidence, self-belief and a positivity to others.

If you weren’t a PT what would you be, and why?
I have an alternative profession as a Lawyer which requires a similar skill set to a fitness trainer. Essentially working with large or small groups of people, advocating and delivering messages and achieving results.

What’s your favourite part of the club?
Functional Agility area

What workout do you like best, and why?
I enjoy HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts. Both with cardio and strength training. I incorporate them in a lot of my bootcamp training sessions as there as clear goals, bursts of intensity and guaranteed results!

What colour / animal / object best describes you?
Red and a lioness.

If you could pass on one piece of training adviceto a member at Max & Aegle what would it be?
It doesn’t matter what the level of fitness a member is training at, the fact they are improving their own mind health and fitness is the first positive step. Even very experienced and fit members have goals to achieve and can better themselves. It could be with cardio, strength, flexibility, balance or core work. There is always progression and with that comes self- belief.
