Three interesting things about me:

I played rugby, cricket, and touch football at state level. I love scuba diving. And am passionate about all things motorbike-related.

Tristan previously played Rugby, Cricket, and Touch Football at the State Representative level in Australia and about 10 years ago he walked in for a trial CrossFit class and never looked back. The constantly varied nature of the “Sport Of Fitness” is what keeps it interesting for him and aims to empower people to become the best version of themselves while having fun reaching their goals.


What areas of fitness do you specialise in?
He is qualified as a Level 2 CrossFit trainer and weightlifting coach. He is certified in sports performance & functional strength training. Plus has a focus on fat loss & muscle gain. Tristan is also qualified to look after our younger & older club members.

What are your fitness thoughts & experience?

If you could pass on one piece of training advice to a member at Max & Aegle what would it be?
Concentrate on technique first and the weight will look after itself.

What workout do you like best, and why?
I’m a big fan of CrossFit because every day is different. It keeps the process interesting.

What’s your favourite part of the club?
The variety of options available.

Why did you become a PT?
The varied nature of the fitness industry and the challenge of inspiring people to achieve their goals are both exciting and motivating for me. The ability to use my skills and knowledge to empower people to be their best when it comes to health and fitness is something I value greatly. Seeing others succeed where they previously struggled and watching their confidence as well as their health levels increase is a great reward.

If you weren’t a PT what would you be, and why?
I love classic cars and motorbikes so I would be involved in building, restoring, and bringing a classic back to life. Just because something is old doesn’t mean it’s finished. Much the same as fitness! You’re never too old to start!
